Cracked Runs Better Than Legit Copy?!

Ok, so I just bought the legit copy of GTA 5 after trying the cracked version. I do have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC. However, on the cracked copy, my game would run at 30FPS fine, with VERY little stuttering. Now, eversince I got the legit copy, the game's been stuttering like crazy and I've been getting lower FPS. Why does the cracked copy run better than the Legit copy?!

Maybe the cracked version was not fully patched? Dunno.

even i was having fully patched cracked copy but it dosent have fps drop but in legit it has fps drops and freeze

Yea.. cracked copy.. social club.. social club overlay.. steam overlay.. too many overlays.. other corrupt files/drivers/settings. Goodluck~

any idea on how to disable sc overlay?

Ok. I just noticed something. The issue appears to be with online. SP runs amazingly actually. Online seems to be the issue.

Could be your Internet, as far as I know Online doesn't have a reputation for worse performance than single player. If anything it's the other way around.

I knew it. Its the DLCs that is lagging you. Online runs all DLC's updates and fixes. Maybe the crack vesion had lass loads to run as it wasn't the full Online. But when you play the real game you got tons of new files to run, load and coimpute. It might be time for new PC. W/e you do make sure you have 16GB of ram and a GPU with at least 6GBs or more. That is all you can do at this point.

Like in arma, the singleplayer is smooth as butter, but the online is laggy as hell. But when I upgraded to intel and got more ram, GPU Gbs my frames went up but my singleplayer was the same. You gotta upgrade for all the new stuff you seeing. 1 car is 533MB's so that is one huge moving file lol. and we got at least 40 new cars since the base game? And you got all the businesses and garages being used at once. Its a heavy game.

Cracks doesnt run anticheat or similar Things in the Background.

I guarantee it's the lack of anti-cheat on the cracked version.
That's why pirated copy of AAA games are ALWAYS smoother, no bloatware
