Can I be banned for using a controller?

I read on the forums that some people are getting banned for using Motionjoy/SCPserver with their PS3 controllers on GTA:O, but apparently PS4 controllers are supported for direct input with no emulators or DLL injections required. My question is if I use my PS4 controller (again, no programs, just plug it in and start the game), will that trigger a ban with rockstars random ban system?

GTA V works perfectly fine with a ds4, no need for any other programs just plug and play.
No you will not get a ban using a ds4.

It doesn't seem to work. Plugged it in, windows automatically downloaded the drivers, but it doesn't work.

i had a ps3 controller too, think it was scp i cant remeber, Basicly just tricked windows into thinking it was an xbox controller.

Then me usb broke so yeah

I got banned after a few days when i started using a SCPtoolkit to do the new stunt tracks DLC.

I have no clue why i got a temp ban as rockstar wont tell me why i was banned.

So now you say you got banned for scptoolkit.... So you got banned for a reason, now move on and be a good father and family man.

the only way a controller can get you banned is if you use it to activate your "cheat menu"

Well my friend uses a PS4 controller through ds4 and has never been banned for it so try using ds4
