Special Cargo Not Earning Double Money

It says special cargo is selling for double until June 12. I currently have 48 crates which will sell for $1,065,024. However,

It says that 48 crates should sell for $852,000. My numbers are clearly more, but not close to double. What gives?

The double $$ /RP is on special vehicles missions (the ones from the PC, not the VIP from CEO interaction menu)

Nevermind, it appears IGN is incorrect. The Social Club website says:
