The money safe in CEO offices
I bought it, thinking it would tidy up my office, clean the money piles lying all over the place... and it didn't.... So dissapointed... Anyone know what the F is it for, other than meaninglessly spending 500k and cosmetics? It should have some functionality!

It's just as you said, entirely cosmetic, it doesn't serve any other purpose apart from filling up when your cash reaches 1 million (i think)
Diablerie May 31, 2017 @ 10:04am
Yep, just there for looks, it has to be among the most pointless of purchases gta online has to offer.

Then, can somebody please explain, why the money is still thrown on the floor and all over the place, If we have an empty safe?! This is beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless... am i missing something?

At least the gun locker allows you to customize your weapon wheel... what does this do?!? It's gonna drive me crazy... I want a refund! (for the safe)

sad to hear that, but thanks for the warning I guess.
Hate that my office is such a mess, why is there no option to clean it up :(

Still cant get over the fact that the game spreads all your money on the office floor, lets you buy a safe, for money and the money is still on the floor. Its just retarded.

Man, there's a bunch of idiots here making lots of comments that can be used as verbal proof that they have cheated money.

Here's the deal. The safe in your CEO Office is a purely cosmetic customization for your office. It being filled up, depends on how much money you have in your GTA:O bank account. Up to a certain amount. At said amount, the safe will be full of bills.

The money spread out along the floor in the office is how much GTA$ You've earned through your CEO Special Crate missions and Import/Export missions.

How does any of what I just said verbally prove that you guys have cheated money? Becaause there's an untrue myth that goes along the lines of: "If you get cheated money from a modder, don't bank the money...or else, Rockstar will remove it or ban you.".

It would seem that some/most of you were gullible enough to believe that, and by mentioning that your safe is empty, yet you have a bunch of money...you have cheated money.

Go work in a bank if you like clean floors.

No one had to. It's a well known myth.

What if they decide to just not bank the money? I mean i was running around with 100K for the longest time from missions and other stuff that doesnt add it to the bank instantly. Also what if they spend their last money on the safe and it is empty because they dont have enough money, The safe reaches "max capacity" at 1 million.

I dont think thats 100% accurate, the money amount on my floor increased when a modder dropped a bunch of money on me and it wasnt in the bank. For sure I think the money in the safe is the "banked" money but then also that the money on the floor is from the money you had in hand, and it just doesnt disappear. Since I didnt do any missions between some dude dropping 100 million on me.

Edit: Does switching styles clean up the money on the floor?

No it does not.
And it does not matter if you got the money through CEO stuff or otherwise (heists, missions, or even hackers). It will still appear on the floor after a certain amount of money. It stats below 1 mil, so like 500k? Or even less I believe? And it will start appearing on the floor.

But how does that confirm the "posters" here have cheated money? All what I'm getting at here is that they have money lying around the office even after purchasing the safe, assuming it would clean it up. Also, import/export does not contribute to office money at all, as I've tested it.

It's only specific to crates, the money littered on the floor depends on your cargo sales, it maxes out after 15-20 million worth of cargo sold. I've earned 46 million by vehicle cargo, 3 million by crates and the money was stuck to a limit, it's only as of recently I've noticed it going up after getting cargo profits.

Only way to clean up the cash is to spend it all. If you got no cash, its not spead everywhere.

Safe caps out at 1 mill, such a low ammount cus it would be cool to watch it fill up to at least a few mill.
