In those battles I instead answer with MuKay who can solo one pretty easily. The worst cheese deserves only the worst cheese as an answer.
There was also one really massive exotic ship that was controlled by the Harmony that I only ever saw once in Arcturus, which fired homing missiles with an infinite chase range and were faster than the default Greegrox speed and also one missile would instantly kill the entire swarm because whatever m8 good memes. In that case the flagship with point defense or phasor handled that one no problem.
Everything else is handled by the Greegrox.
The Menkmack ships could definitely do with a buff for instance. In ideal scenarios, they can do tons of damage, but those scenarios are so rare and difficult to pull off that it's not worth even trying.
Right now harmony cruisers are very easy to defeat using fish swarms ONLY because they turn ther backs and try to run away while I stay just a bit beyond flamethrower reach. But turn speed of those cruisers would easily allow them to ender green fog area and roat up every fish swarm in the vicinity.
Greegrox swarm have the best gameplay controls. Flying any other ship is a chore compared to the fluid control on the swarm. I don't see how long range or much any other ship is viable without cursor aiming, and inertia dampening toggles like SPAZ.
