So what i really wanted too know is do you mine planets for resources like the old Starflight or do you just shoot things on planets to gain credits for ship upgrades.
I remember an old Star Control game but it wasn't too good. Starflight had alot of detail in gameplay years ago, I liked how you just flew one exploration ship and upgraded that as you explored and mined planets for different resources, i like how you would land the starship and send out scout's and mining vehicles to survey and harvest resources, different weather effects and planet lifeforms, some pacifistic while others are predators. Then all the usual meet aliens fight with some and ally with others.
