Thank you for all of the love and attention you've paid to vertically scrolling manic shooter game Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage.

In order to create a richer, smoother gaming experience for players, patch ver. 1.05 will be released today (4/07) with the following changes:

● The bug where some achievements were not unlocking has been fixed.

We hope you'll experience this smoother version of Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage for yourself, and thank you to all of the people who have played Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage and visited our community page.

had fun with it but is this a remake or enhanced version of a previous title or completely new cause i noticed some bosses from previous shikhondo in this.

"Super Player" Achievement broken

I beat the game on Hardcore mode, on Extreme, and all I got was the achievement "HardCore Mode Clear." for beating the mode at all... which is pretty disappointing.

add save between levels, please

I know there's an option for infinite continues, but I'd also appreciate if the game would let us save progress between levels so we don't have to beat the game in one sitting. If you're worried about leaderboard abuse, you can make it so that loading a saved game resets the player's score to zero....

Portrait mode

Will this be compatible with Portrait mode/9:16/vertical mode when set in windows? I have a permanent vertical arcade in Portrait mode, not Landscape mode, so just checking. Rotation/tate won't help if this game only works when the settings are Landscape/16:9/Horizontal. The reason I ask, is because there are a lot of shmups that do TATE, but will not work in Portrait mode, and you HAVE to be in landscape mode for it to work. For example, Triangle Service games are always boxed. Thank you!...
