Way overpriced and killing your hardware by overheating..
i hav watched quite a few videos on youtube th elast 3 days..

i would like to play it

but HEY its only skirmish again and again and again .. no progress at all

its very fast paced AND OF CAUSE it dangerously bugged by going crazy with your hardware... overheating gpu and cpu while real big games like star citizen..elite dangerous.. mechwarrior online..battefield 3 ...give no heat problems at all

without the heat problem i would give up tp 20 euro for it but thats it .. you get games with much more features and replay goodies for 30+ allready...

It's not overheating at all and a really good game even though I don't have a monster hardware. It has a whole lot replayability and is very fun each round. If you don't pick it up now, do it when it's released and without bugs + cheaper. I am playing now and having fun with the game. Worth it very much imo.

No overheating for me.

well 2 poeple say no overheating.. look all the other topics.

all the games i named in my first post never get my 6 core cpu higher than 56° maybe 63° in the summer

and the gpu stays below 65-70

just 1 minut ago there was a new topic opened saying his cpu is melting at 80°+ while playing this game

sitting on the pc since 6 hours-- with breaks off cause CORE TEMP saying me the max heat reached today was 43° and i was playing eite dangerous.. naval action..and skyrim

a CPU is not melting at 80°... Well I have a workstation processor / Intel Xeon but anyway, if it's a solid CPU it's not gonna die... ppl might need to turn graphics down tho.

Consider that everyone who isn't experiencing overheating isn't busting into the forums and posting threads about how their temps are fine in all caps. You're going to get the few people whose peculiar hardware setup leads to overheating vastly over-represented.

I guess around 2% max have overheating problems and 1,5% of em arent even caused by the game.

Jason, our graphics programmer, checked in a fix that should lock the framerate at 60fps and allow vsync. This should lower the frequency of computers overheating. The next version should include it. Please let me know if that improves the situation.

Thanks!

I mean really instead of whingeing about how its casuing your system to overheat how about constructive feedback on the game. Yes it has some grapical glitches but that can be fixed.

Did you happen to read that this game isn't finished yet ...

Looks like a great game so far!

if your hardware is overheating, you should clean ur fans or get a better rig :D
Filurium Feb 17, 2015 @ 3:47am
I suffer the same problem, overheating. I vent the system with preassurized air (from a can) and vaccum the fans of my laptop, but overheating-problem remains.
It's "gaming"-laptop but I know you can't really say that.

Will report on changes with new patch. If there where alterantives to the high graphics, I'd like to switch down to more low-tech graphics. Now I can switch to low resolution but beyond that?

In my experience, i could play one round. After that it felt like my pc was going to melt and my pc commenced an overheating shutdown. So yea, the overheating problems are pretty severe...

The only computer I've ever had seriously overheat, was one that was full of dust. LOL. Except for maybe an xbox or 2.
ElCapitan1701 Feb 17, 2015 @ 10:29am
Overheating can never be a software issue. At a worst case scenario software can use your cpu or gpu by 100% over a long time. If this results in an overheat of your cpu, gpu or system is your responsibilty - if your cpu is intact 100% workload is not a problem. If your gpu is intact 100% workload is not a problem. If you have adequate cooling in your system there wont be a problem. If you have overclocked your cpu, or gpu or bad cooling it is not a software issue!
