Off world market
The off world market needs to be nerfed, right now its just about rushing to lvl 5 so you can buy it, and start buying out your competitors.

It Can be countered in a variety of ways, also if the person doesnt have the industries that are valuable offworld then the money is pretty poor. If you see someone racing to 5 stop him, hem his growth, whether it be surgering his steel or nuking his iron mines. Also its essential that the market is as powerful as it is currently as otherwise the late game would take ALOT longer to finish as all the onworld prices start to crash heavily as everyone sells everything as you generally are overproducing. I think with the last 2 patches the balance is now in a sweet spot, just try to come up with counters to this *market rush* and exploit what the person is doing.

erm any resource you have 100 of sells for a ridiculous price it's not just certain industries.
also buying of shares is so cheap it shouldn't happen when people only have tier 3 outposts.

the tool tip can put your company at hundreds of thousands value but then your shares are 10k each?!?!?! with no debt like wtf.

there's not stratergy just a boring rush because the games are to quick

But in the end a mad rush for progress is exactly what happens... like that in real life, when a market is created for a product everyone throws themselves in and tries to dominate the market as rapidly as possible. This is what happens here. Its also a case of the fact that the business world isnt fair and if you fall behind the guy ahead will most likely win, so DONT fall behind in the first place, the game's fast pacing and frantic rush for explotation is what makes it entertaining as you have numerous factors to consider, plans to draw out in a short amount of time, being concerned about others on the map and what investment is going to payout he most. You cant claim there isnt no strategy to a game where what each player does directly affects the other players on the map, Your playing an eternally changing and adapting market, if you simply rush things people will notice, exploit it how they can and you will be left in the dust of thier progress.

I do however agree with your point that currently shares are fairly cheap considering the value of the company, but im sure it's something to be reviewed in the balance of the game. that said its hard to argue imbalance when everyone is given the same potential, its just how they use it.

Please buff off world markets back to where it was...currently the games are stalling big time because you cant make enought money anymore with off world markets....they cut the profit by 25% and now we even need to pay aluminium and fuel for every single rocket launch. Theyre not worth it anyway because theyre so easy to shut down with black market options

I typically win without them for the most part, for some reason some of the glass/chemicals/electronics get up to $300-$400...thats $30-40k a pop instantly without the need to fuel and build the rocket with aliminum and wait for takeoff. Of course I'll build the offworlds to ship the oxygen and food that typically is the highest and supplement my instant income off the better resources.

Honestly though the game is like any RTS, it's mostly a rush fest to the best units and attacking your enemies bases to cripple them a bit more and spirals down from there.

I think the bigger issue is that all the resources become useless late game on planet. Everyone is just selling them by the 1000s because there's nothing else to do with them. Game needs a lot more uses for each of the resources so there always in demand.
