EMP Crazy
For some reason especailly recently I am getting targeted by pretty much constant EMPs amongst other things like dynamite etc but EMP's mostly. It doesn't matter how well or badly I am doing. Most of the time I play with a friend and other AI, he seems to be left alone for the most part and I end up with all the set backs...

There is no chance of doing well when as soon as one EMP stops another launches and it's a constant state of frozen almost. I can't keep buying Goon Squads either, 1. I can't buy them quick enough, 2. I don't have that kind of money to waste and keep wasting every time the black market open (plus ofc it gets more and more expensive!)

I am really really liking this game but this is becoming really tiresome :(

Has anyone else been getting this?

Are you grouping all of your buildings together more than the other players? If so, it's likely due to that. Try spacing your structures out more to avoid EMP strikes.

Like Kamicosby said, the AI likes to go (seems to anyways) for the best strike, not necessarily who is doing better or not. If they can wipe out 9 buildings in an emp strike, that will be the target, if their is a long line of 10 buildings, a power surge will be the answer. They usually dynamite power sources if power is selling for a lot. It's mostly cost vs reward. If $6,000 emp would only hit 3 oxygen centers when oxygen is at $20 a pop it really isnt worth it, hit 9 different buildings well you got a winner then.

Just need to space things out, put steel mills on the left side of you maybe and oxygen on the right side for instance, You need to mix clustering with a straight line and keeping them all seperated.

Nukes are a bit harder, they will hit a high resource if its chained with a bonus first before hitting a high resource solo.

I see, so them 50% bonuses, 100% bonuses etc can't be taken too much then :( I put all of one type together because of them bonuses.

I am actually not convinced it's because I put stuff together. It even happens at the start when I have maybe only 2 buildings together.... :S
