Games are very very short and end very quick .. 10-15 min games. not my type for sure, i enjoy longer games 1-2 hrs?

Have you tried the campaign? The missions aren't necessarily longer, but they link together for a multi-hour experience.

It is not too short, it is just a matter of opinion. I like the short games, because you can play it easily in between other things I have to do. Also, the short games can make it very intense. Maybe watch some youtube video's from Zultar? He gives nice commentary and if you watch these matches you see how intense these games can be.

This is one thing I like about this game. It is a quick game. The videos I had seen before buying showed that this was intended to be a fast paced game. It was one of the factors that made me want to buy.

In games with combat units I like longer games. But that makes less sense in OTC, and in this game I prefer shorter, so I like the current pacing. To each his own.

I think a lot of people are coming in with an expectation of an epic, sweeping strategy experience in OTC. Not surprising considering the pedigree of the game and the general popularity of grand strategy/TBS games these days.

Buyers should know that is a generally fast-paced economy game with shortish sessions.

This game was designed with competitive multiplayer in mind. Each instance you play is not meant to drag on for hours - its meant to go for 15 to 30 minutes so you can play a series of matches with friends over the course of an hour or two.
