Single Player Game, "Exit Game" button doesn't work.
Hi! Whenever I attempt to close a skirmish game, or a single mission in the single player campaign, the game fails to close. The menu disappears, and the game simply continues. My player log is really big, but if you tell me what section you need to review, I'll be happy to post it.

I'm on a MacBook Air, M1 chip.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. I have to force quit my game after ever level I play. Fortunately it seems to save that you completed the mission.
I am on a MacBook Pro M1 Chip.

This is looking increasingly like a Mac-specific (and perhaps M1-specific?) error, which unfortunately didn't get tested as much as we would've liked. I've been looking for a log (Library/Application Support/Offworld/Logs/output.txt) showing the errors that occur when running into the bug since I don't have a machine available locally to test, so if anyone could provide one, that would be appreciated.

Posting the first instances of errors (which likely repeat many times afterwards) in particular would be helpful.

I have the same issue on my MacBook. But it's Intel-based.
Hmm, this could just be a Mac thing then?
I went back to an earlier version and it now exits. But BEWARE! The Multi - Player is still not working!

Hi so i am on an intel mac as well and the issue still exists. how do i roll back to another version so that it works? i dont plan on playing multiplayer quite yet anyway so that shouldnt be an issue

I am also having this problem, in all modes of the game. (Intel Mac as well.)

This bug makes the campaign unplayable because evidently the progress of the campaign is saved after the exit button is clicked.

Intel Mac here and I'm seeing the same problem. Campaign mode unplayable beyond the first scenario, because the game never goes back to the next mission, and just keeps running the first.
Hi, I am not on a mac and am having this issue as well. I played a couple months ago on this computer and this was not happening.

I bought the game about a week ago, and have played a little. Just posting to report that the Exit button works fine on Windows.
Just to clarify: You can click the exit button. The game quits, then re-opens as if you had clicked "Continue playing" and then does not allow you to do anything. You then must force quit.
