If you want more campaign options and story, then you might be interested in the Patron and the Patriot DLC.
Blue Chip Ventures is a bunch of single player scenarios which will challenge you and help you learn how to play some of the difficult situations in Offworld.
The Ceres Initiative adds another map type to play on. Ceres will show up in Ranked whether you own the DLC or not, and in lobby games only the host needs to own Ceres. If you want to play skirmishes on Ceres against the AI, or host your own Ceres lobbies, then you need the DLC.
- new Uranium resource with Nuclear Reactor
- resources deplete over time
- general lack of water (need more Condensers instead of Pumps)
I'm still having fun with the default game, but Ceres Initiative looks best so far.
Also does Blue Chip include scenarios on Ceres as well?
And can you do campaigns on Ceres with the Patriot & Patron DLC characters?
So how well are the DLCs connected?
I'm asking cause I plan to pick up the DLCs one by one, but not sure in what order would be the best.
I am wondering about these questions also...
Does anyone has some info on this before I buy it?
There is no full Ceres Campaign, but there is an option to include Ceres missions in the Mars Campaign. This is available for 4, 7 and 10 week campaigns with any of the CEOs (new ones included), but not for the story campaigns.
