What is the best paying load.
For me pulling load like heavy machinerie pays the best, so far up to 80K.

Anything which stacks multiple of the license upgrades, such as high value, fragile, dangerous cargo etc.

Sort the job list by "Price per distance" and you ewill get an idea which cargos pay the most.

Number of skill point in the different categories do affect what currently pays the most per mile.

Heavy equipment, or trucks from TX to WA, or WA to TX. Have had several runs more than $3000,000.00

How long does a WA<->TX run take?

Best paying would be an urgent Space Container job but they aren't common

The job lists give good estimations of how long it should take to drive from source to destination. Sort the Freight Market list by Route Length and there should be some jobs between WA and TX at the top.

The actual driving time depends on how fast you drive. But in real time, a few hours maybe...

Yeah, I was thinking about doing an external contract from the furthest tip of WA to the gulf coast. I remember once I did Grand Canyon to WA and it took a few hours. I imagine the tip of Texas could take 3 or 4, depending on routes, traffic, load, etc.

The one that gives you the most cash per mile. You know you can sort the contract list by exactly that info for a reason? ;-)

Well, depending on trailer/truck combo, as well as level, you could net a job that takes you from one end of the country to the other. Supposing that you have the DLC for the other states, that is. If not, then the more types of cargo that you put skills into (HAZMAT, Fragile, Fast Delivery, etc) will net you more money. Before I downloaded the Coast 2 Coast mod, going from Washington state into Texas for anything, no matter the load gained me a tonne of money. Also the higher the level, and the more stats you put into "Long Distance", the more you will make.

I use the hard realistic mod, as an owner driver the most I have seen so far is $5.60 a mile,.which is awesome

I clicked on Seattle once by mistake as I was up that way and saw jobs worth $10,000 or more, most jobs where in the $8.000 range.

I don't really look at the cargo too much as I have most all certifications, I just look at the $ per mile.
As you go through and get more certifications the cargo becomes less important I have found

Search for job by price. You can view the listing from low to highest or high to lowest.
