The strongest truck, depending on how you equip it in vanilla, is the Peterbilt 389.

You can certainly mod and cheat your way to much higher mph, much higher than even 110. There's some youtubers who post comedy type content playing ATS hauling 80k in weight and going 250 mph.

If you want fast, powerful trucks, come up with a truck racing game.
Semi's are NOT built for speed. They are built to haul.

The Space Shuttle was a pretty fast truck.

It's been a while since I played 100% Vanilla, but I thought the w900 was the only truck that had the 625HP Cat option .. I thought the Pete 389 was limited to the 605HP Cummins option.

Look for the smallest differential you can find in the gearbox selection. Overdrive gearbox will always have a higher differential because of the smaller final gear.

Makes sense to me. I think.

The fastest I went was 101.. prolly downhill. International 9900i with 35,000 load.

Which truck went 110 ?

Yeah, I imagine it's the pre-teen gamers who, rather than play the game the way it's supposed to be played, want to see how fast they can go. Who cares? Get a racing game if you're into that. When I'm hauling cargo, I rarely go above 62 mph.

Hermit you need to stop bragging about your free fall and just TELL US where is this location?!! LOL! That would be awesome to try with my Kenworth!

This might sound too extreme, but here we go... who care's? As long as they keep purchasing DLC, I would say SCS cares.

Have anyone seen SCS saying, "if you don't play it by the book, go play Forza Horizon or something. This is an simulator."
