3 second traffic lights and mirrors on the Mack trucks that you can see

I'm glad they are adding new states and new trucks, but in my opinion the Macks were a complete waste. No matter how i adjust the seat or mirrors i cant see out of them worth a damn. Those mirrors don't belong half way in the middle of the window. And lightning fast traffic lights have been an issue for the 900 and some hours I've played the game. Do you devs really think our lights are that fast, and didn't you notice you got the mirror in the wrong spot? Maybe for the next big years worth of research and hype we could get little stuff like that taken care of. Another thing is if you made a deal with International, then why only the Lonestar? At least we got 2 Peterbuilt's and Kenworths. There are a lot of other Internationals on the road, and Freightliner would also be a good one to shoot for next. I see a lot of Sterlings doing local work. Maybe way i the future we could even get some classic brands like Brockway, White, Autocar, etc. You gotta fix the little things first like the traffic lights, but more trucks have to come along with the states, and you cant let a mirror screw up ruin all the work that went into adding the 1 single Mack model.

They plan to add more trucks of the existing brands and new brands...
Trucks and DLCs aren't added super fast, it takes time for the team to make and develop them. Just the the truck in the game currently they weren't there at the start, takes some time.

ok thanks. I'll go get that one. Appreciate it. I was actually just looking and I found a Mack mirror fix too. My complaint is really sloppy devs. They have so much potential in this game and it seems like it's a joke to them. A reason to travel around and take vacations while not noticing traffic lights?

As for the Mack trucks: That is how they are IRL! If that wouldn't be the case the maufacturer wouldn't have accepted it.

As for other trucks: Licencing. There are copyrights and trade marks, you know?

As for the traffic lights: That is due to scaling. The world outside of cities is scaled 1:20 while in cities it is 1:3. That does not only apply to distance but also to time (which you should have noticed). You can adjust that with mods.

Another Lonestars and Freightliners should come depending on Developer. Build them in 3D editing tool can't be done just in a day. Besides, it really takes time for licensing deal, design approval, and brand owner's bureaucratic matters.

I think people like you should play ets, or the first release of ets2, only then you can appreciate how much the games have evolved and how much effort the developer has spent on creating much more than a "simple" trucking sim.

I know it's not as realistic, but you can also use the F2 button for the mirrors or, as I do, buy the two small hood mirrors and adjust them to cover your blind spots. The hood mirrors aren't as good as the full mirrors, but I haven't had any problems running into cars when I change lanes.

I posted this before but great video on a walkaround of real Mack. Is it the game or real hard to tell!!. I am sure before SCS can use a new truck it must be an exact copy. I am like the OP I removed the last mod I had which was the mirror alignment and now I have got used to where the mirrors are now . There's a blind spot with mirrors no matter where they are. Personally I think the mirrors on the truck bonnet look silly but that's just my opinion .

SCS will NEVER licence old/classic trucks for this game.

i emailed them years ago asking for them to put the Scania T Cab into ETS2 and they replied stating that they will only be seeking licences for trucks currently in production. this means no official K100E, FLD, FLB, Sterling's, CAT's, etc...

I've been in a Mack Anthem and you can adjust that whole mirror arm however you want it. You can just reach out and grab the damn thing. Who would want it halfway in the middle of their window? They are that way for easy installation. The devs should understand stuff like this seeing as they make 2 trucking games. So yeah they may have modeled it after the actual truck factory specs, but didn't model the adjustments along with it or take into consideration how the truck is actually driven. If it wasn't for the modders we'd only have the mirror lens adjustments and the truck would be just about useless. Sloppy devs. Do you think Mack would have really said no you cant move the mirrors the same way almost every American trucker adjusts them had they asked? No they are are too clueless to even ask or notice stuff like that. Keep sucking up to these punks and maybe you'll get a prize
