Jackknife and Skidding?

Why is my truck now skidding and wanting to jackknife when I get off accelerator and coast?
No matter what settings I use, and using no mods, it just skids and turns while just coasting? This is getting REAL irritating and I'm about to stop playing altogether. Please go back to the way it was. You're going to start losing players.

Thing is: That is not happening on my end.
Have you checked your settings that you aren't getting any unwanted inputs?

yea I agree I havn't played for a long time and noticed this too

Checked everything, different truck, different tires, tried all I can think of. Just started doing it recently, I have never had this problem over the years. Really irritating in the curves. Let off the accelerator, start skidding and jackknifing and am crashing almost all the time unless I slow waaay down beforehand. I don't get it

How fast are you trying to go around the corners?
What are you using to play the game? Keyboard? Controller? Wheel and pedals?

If this was a widespread issue it would have been reported and I have not seen one reporting about skidding around corners and jackknifing.

Almost sounds like the automatic handbrake (e-brake) option has been turned on, and the brake is locking up the wheels whenever you let go of accelerate. Perhaps check that you haven't turned on that setting somehow?

So I'm using keyboard and mouse. Going around curves speed limit to 10 over usually. Happens on straightaways as well. Just don't crash on those. Have been using the same settings for months and months. Just now starting to try different settings since this issue started within the last three weeks or so. Emergency braking disabled. Traction control disabled. Anti lock braking disabled. Retarder and engine brake disabled. Still does it. Those settings enabled still does it. Default settings still does it. Guess I'll try clean install of game
