Texas has an extremely anoying road network, SCS may have done a great job building and crafting it, but it's like the Texas road network was designed by a 5 year old.

It's so unintuitive that they even have lanes for doing uturns everywhere because people pick the wrong lanes. 75 mph roads ending in streetlights, sometimes even ending in only a stop sign. Like whoever designed it was trying to kill as many people as possible.

I especially hate the on ramps to highway in Texas where you have to cross through incomming trafic, who the hell thought that was a good idea?

It’s all based on the real thing: lots of service roads paralleling the interstates, and Texas U-turns to allow people to get from one service road to the other.
Hard to decide. I actually like Colorado and Montana because I prefer mountain environment. But I also like Texas for it's urban setting. And as they continue revamping California as they're doing til now, probably it'll be my other urban favorite.

Colorado for myself remains the most scenic state in game still.

Texas was an all around disappointment (and why I won't buy ATS map DLC unless bundled on sale anymore). Oklahoma from what I've seen (and of the reviews I've read) seems to be worse than Texas.

Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, in that order.

Although I also still like the visuals in Oregon and Washington. Utah and Idaho also have neat and pretty areas. But the three at the top would be the most scenic ones for me.

Personally I prefer Washington and Oregon, because it reminds me of where I live...just north of the border of Washington, in BC Canada.

I'm going with Oregon. You get the coast, the PWN rainforests, the arid high desert forests, and then the desert itself. Lots of variety there.

When I started my last savegame, I made my "base" in California but I spend most of my ATS driving in and between Washington and Oregon. Definitely not disappointed in the scenery :D

Texas has great mapping imo and is great to drive around. I think Colorado or Montana (especially thanks to Thomson Falls) still take #1 most scenic for me though.

California's rework areas are quite good though so CA might jump up my ranking once phase 3 and 4 of the rework are complete.

Oregon, Washington, Colorado,Montana, and Idaho as well those 5 are my favorites so far.

I dislike Texas because although I love the state IRL I had traveling it IRL and the game too.
