Rolling coal?
Hey all I just got the game not too long ago, absolutely love it. I am a Class A CDL (truck) driver and this game is so relaxing and helps a bit with backing skills to be completely honest.

So my question is, as a diesel engine lover, is there any way to make the trucks roll coal? More black smoke from exhaust, tree killing fumes (joke)? I am not very good at navigating the mod workshop, but from my searches, I cannot find anything about it. I am running the badass mod from here on steam, The General Trux mod. Its just a skinned truck with badass military-esk cosmetics and i feel like it has unique engine, exhaust, turbo, and engine brake sounds too. It would be a complete package if there was black smoke, you know? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is not criminal but we will never get it from SCS.

Pavel, SCS CEO, has confirmed that is it in fact part of the licensing agreements to not have black exhaust/rolling coal as the manufacturers do not want to see their trucks being environmentally unfriendly, even in a game.

I don't know if this would also include heat plumes(every truck has these) though.

Since the "smoke" mods don't look realistic and it'll never be implemented in game. To get rolling coal, I prefer to fire up spin tires/mud runner/snow runner instead

Thanks, I guess that makes sense, would be hard to create if not already a feature. I love mud/snowrunner!

@DadBodGaming
If you were a real life trucker you would know that trucks today don't "roll coal" as you put it.

@Trucker_71 I don't recall ever saying they did, no need to be a negative Nancy. I said it would complete the look of what I want. I have a 2019 duramax that does, is it so criminal to want it in a video game?
