How to actually purchase a new garage

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be nice! I have upgraded my garage but wanting to purchase a new garage in a different state but I am unable to find the button how to do it. Any help is much appreciated.

Go to the town the garage is located in and go to that garage. Drive over the floating symbol and press enter. If you have the money, you have just bought a new garage!

Note that unlike ETS2, not every city has a garage. Only larger cities do, generally 3-4 in every state except California (which has more.)

With DLC, not every city in ETS2 has a garage.

Not every city in ATS has a garage. As of now I'll list the Garages for each state currently in the game :

Arizona - Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff
Nevada - Las Vegas, Reno, Elko
California - Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Bakersfield, San Diego, Fresno
New Mexico(DLC) - Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Roswell

To get any of those garages, just drive to any of those cities and buy them. you'll need $180,000 (in USD currency in game) to buy one.

Good info. But once I get to a city (like Portland OR or Sacramento CA), how do I go about finding a garage to drive to?

By looking at the map.

On the World Map (default hot key M) there is an icon for Garage. Click on Legend in bottom left corner to find out how the Garage icon look like.
