Radio channels?

I just got my feet wet on this game.

One thing hit on me when surfing all radio channels..there is only jukebox, non stop ,music channels. No news or alike.

Btw are those real ads in Office channel? Sounds like from GTA, some of those sounds so crackpots.

In Ets2 I had Q..what was it belgium..channel. News, jibberjabber and music...didn't understand jibberjabber but it was nice.

So for SCS , please get at least one license for some normal radio channel, thanx

You can stream any radio station your heart desires on your web browser while you play the game. Personally, I like political talk shows, ;-)

The radio channels in-game are real, live radio stations that are streamed from the Internet.

You're free to add your own through the live_streams.sii file in your Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/ folder.

You USED to be able to add a lot more real world radio stations, but many have gone to audio formats and/or website and app encoding that isn't compatible with ATS or ETS anymore. Have fun hunting down the ones that work, I used to do it all the time...

I sincerely hope no one falls for the ads on the in-game radio stations. There's one for Brokers Lamina, a loan shark company who charges 30% plus fees.

I use a separate streaming service as the in game radio stations were constantly freezing the game (don’t know if that’s fixed?). Sirius/XM has a few trucker themed channels which would probably make for good background too.

Why can't we listen to live CB channels? I mean in the Reno area there is always a call out for use of a shower with company afterwards.. I-80 doesn't need to be so lonely in the real world.

Is this a trucking sim or not?
