Even something like what they had in 18 Wheels of Steel would be fine.
I know this is bull, I've lived in the US all my life and it's NEVER been illegal to own or use a CB radio in the US.., in fact I've had 3 or 4 of them over my lifetime so far and never have I had to buy one in a dive bar or back alley. I just went to the local truck stop or Radio Shack and bought one. There's a truck stop just a couple of miles from my house that I stop at frequently and they currently sell several models.
So either someone at SCS is a total moron or you are just trolling, regardless, I'd like to see a link to this statement, if there even is one...
It specifically mentions CB radios. If he was asking about "flags, tennis balls, magic 8 balls etc..." then why is there no mention of these other things?
What part of Moh's response said anything about CB Radios. He played the pronoun game by using "they". He probably meant general accessories like things hanging from the windows that could block the drivers' view.
There is no need for you to go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy when you can't be 100% clear on what they were talking about.
A DLC pack just for a CB won't happen. Can't have stuff on the windshield or anything blocking the view (apparently) so all that is out. So what can SCS add other than a radio that is legal in ALL states, and would validate the time to make it all?
Regardless of your opinion of whether SCS is right about the legal side (I ain't American, I neither know nor care whether it's accurate or not) that is SCS's reason, like it or not.
Furthermore, if someone is going to ask a question about "cabin accessories" then why not mention those cabin accessories and not just one specific thing?
Yes, the OPs question header is simply the word "accessories", but then the only thing they mention is wanting to have a CB radio.
I honestly do not see where I've made any mistake. If I wanted to ask a question about "mods", as an example, but only mentioned the Coast to Coast map mod, then it's natural to assume that is what I want to know about, is it not?
That's like walking into a restaraunt and when they ask you what you'd like, you say simply, "food". What kind of food? Is the waiter or waitress supposed to just "magically" know that you want a burger or a steak when all you mention is "food"?
I'm not trying to be an a$$ here, just pointing out that sometimes you need to be a bit more specific if you want an exact answer.
