That is an interesting point. I had never even thought about anyone trying to drive anywhere other than on the driveable areas of the map. Now you have mentioned that I can understand that it is more than likely some players probably do try that.
Thanks for the tip.
I would hardly consider driving over a patch of dirt on a sharp corner "off roading into the desert"
or just trying to make a wide turn and hitting an invisible wall made of empty air "driving simulation" Thats more like "acid trip simulator".
Though off roading into the desert sounds pretty awesome, just think of the time you could save with direct routes, and the flat tires from cacti thorns.
Its interesting you havent found any. I appreciate you sharing your experience. To answer your questions, the ones that are at some of the corners are the ones I've found mostly. When ever I go around traffic its like a gamble of a science fiction force field ready to damage the truck.
Only using the realistic graphics mod. I didnt think it repositioned anything. I hadnt really thought to test it. Thats an idea worth exploring.
OK, I see you responded to my second post. How about my first post?
See above edit, I apollogize for the lazy edit posting instead of doing one post righ the first time
By the way, you mention these invisible walls are when you are making turns. Can you describe what is happening in more detail? Just saying invisible walls really is not enough information.
If you're just driving into the desert for a giggle, I'm not sure what you expected to happen.
Yes I am for real. I have played this game since the day it was released and have over 1,600 hours playing time and have hauled all sorts of trailers in the game and only when playing betas have I ever encountered invisible walls which were later fixed. So instead of taking umbrage at my question just explain where you are having the problems and what is happening.
By the way, do you think that question would not be asked at the SCS forum?
