using the stove breaks the game

anytime I use the stove my game freezes up and i can't do anything? anyone else have this happen to them or know of a fix?

I am not entirely sure but someone once posted that cooking and fishing can break like this if you have something on your hotbar activated when you start. I never checked if this was correct or not.

Quickly press enter and type /unstuck

AFAIK that does work when cooking freezes up your character.

I've been dealing with the fishing rod bug. Every now and then it'll freeze when I switch baits. Frustrating for sure!

odds are y'all are bugging it with what stretch said and having a slot on your toolbar active. I have not experienced any of the talked about freezing/locking up that people have mention even though I do all those things to (even after having the client running for upto 15 hours). However I knew about the toolbar slot being active causing issues before I installed the game.

I have had it happen a few times, I found using /unstuck in chat helps (depending on the recipe time it can spoil the cooking).

Not had it happened during fishing yet though.

This has been a problem for some time. There are two possible temporary fixes:

1. Press "H" to bring up the Home overview then close it. This has previously remedied this issue

2. Type /unstuck in chat. This will relocate you, possibly right back outside your home, where you can then run back inside and resume cooking.

I've also had about 2 dozen instances of talking to an NPC dumping all other input, leaving ALT+F4 to force the game to close and restarting as the only solution.

I have had that happen so many times now i don't even read dialogue I just blast through it so I don't have to force quit and restart.

Tried that with Einar, dialog got cut off mid-sentence and input was hard-locked out. Had the same thing happen with Hassian and with Hodari.
