The Flash version is a game Adam and I made in 2010, in just 3 weeks of our free time.
This new game is a brand new sequel to the Flash game, with the same sort of mechanic but all new content, and much more content at that!
It also runs at 1080p 60fps, which coupled with Adam having improved his artistic skills in the last 4 years means this one looks a lot better! It sounds better too, this time we had a composer create an original soundtrack, and a bunch of voice actors for the various voices throughout the game.
If you liked the Flash game and want to play more of the same sort of game, then this sequel is probably what you're after!
I hope that answers your question, but it's up to you to decide if it's worth your $5!
did you send the mail already or is it still in the adding process?
I would like to play it on Steam and I already purchased it on your webside, as Arin and the other grumps played it :)
I haven't emailed en-mass yet, need to find a good emailing service... But the keys should be on your Humble download page now!
It might be a weird question, but is the music from the original Flash version in this Steam version? I recently bought the Steam version with soundtrack, but I couldn't find the music. I know it's a sequel and has different contents, but it will be awesome to have the old music.
Maybe it's not in the Steam version for copyright issue?
It's just my idea from the memorable Flash game I really enjoyed.
Anyway, thank you for making this game on Steam!
So with the music from the original Flash version, we have the right to use it in the game, but not to sell it in the soundtrack. For all the other music in the Steam version, which was all written just for this game by our composer Raphael Benjamin Meyer, we have the right to use it in the game AND sell it in the soundtrack!
However, if you wanted to manually add the old track to the soundtrack folder, you could do that! The music comes from the Newgrounds Audio Portal and can be downloaded for free here:
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/173224
Then just add that file to the soundtrack folder (maybe add some matching ID3 tags and rename it?)

Glad you like both versions :D
