For those of you who have been following the discussion here, this mod aims to un-censor and restore the original designs, remove the localization changes, among other aspects of the gameplay experience.

Making this thread here to help people follow along. I will edit this post as updates are made.

Instead of doing this useless mod, can someone for the love of god put the old battle interface back?
I absolutely hate the fact that command window hides the first character sprite. I hate that i have to look to the right to see my chars health and mana.
I hate that i have to look to the right again if i want to double check who's turn it is.
So get to it, instead of this absolutely pointless thing. Chop chop

i'm glad they're looking at the original localization, as well.

i really don't care for the constant puns and dialects they put in the modern dragon quest games. the goofiness gets a little grating after a time. i prefer the more straightforward NES translations, even if the spell names aren't necessarily accurate.
