Exactly. I encourage those posting NOT to buy the game but ALSO support (download & share) content that restores the art to the form it should have been.
That sends about as clear a message as you can send. It also helps preserve the proper art from the effort that Square Enix is actively making to scrub the original designs from history (including the creator- Yuji Horii's own comments).
Personally, I beg to differ:
Ryujinx was just taken down the other day. Yuzu was taken down in March 2024. Vimm's Lair was taken down in June 2024. RHDN was taken down in August 2024. They are also trying to go after the Internet Archive as we speak..
All of this happened in the last 7 months.
Let's not forget that in the past week, Square Enix has actively been trying to take down any videos of Yuji Horii's recent interview from anywhere it is hosted online.
