basically need to work with others instead of just running around. running around with no tactics will just get you killed. i learned the hard way when i first started
just because the game doesnt point out things you can do doesnt mean you cant do them. one of the reasons i like this game is because it just throws you in the middle of battle and your basically left on your own to figure stuff out or can ask players in the server about what to do or for advice in general

RWR isn't so much about your standard rank-up, unlock, perk gaining motivation. It's not even about score. RWR appeals to those with a deep strategic and tactical sense.
RWR is about the gameplay itself. About the battles as they happen, being able to be aware of whats going on around you all the time, adapting, improvising and improving. Personally I constantly check the map, if there are two or more fronts happening and adjust my personal efforts or help to orginize a plan if we need to change our approach to facilitate a link-up of forces on the field, or make a Stealth move around the back with a team.
RWR provides you with all the basics needed for complex warfare, it just comes down to the players to implement them properly. The motivation is the gameplay itself and the firefights as they happen. You literally can't get more Real Time. It's like you play as a sinlge entity in a large RTS game. It is possible to influence the team, and help navigate your teams approach. But instead of it being a matter of issuing commands or using special abilities for whole units, it's about an individuals ability to communicate and work with other real people in real time.
if any of your pals happen to get it i suggest maybe giving it another shot. use skype or some voice chat program. me and my buddy played a couple times and it was fun with voice chat.
glad to see someone being reasonable after rushing to buy a game then realizing it may not be their cup of tea. kudos to you sir. i have seen some people that after they decide they do not like this game that it is a bad game overall and that because it has overwhelming positive review that means the reviews were fakes.... lol.
have a good day/night man
Indeed. Wake Island was part of the Pearl Harbor operation, one of the pivotal engagements of World War II in the Pacific.
