Bullet Trail

I see the bullet_trail.png file, however, that bullet trail is universal. I can't seem to locate how to make 1 gun (let's say p90) use a custom bullet trail. Any ideas? the bullet.projectile doesn't have anywhere it its' code the bullet_trail.png file. I removed the bullet_trail, hoping the game would crash to send me in right direction, but just shoots white bullets. :/

According to that post, you should be able to accomplish what you are wanting to do. I haven't personally tried the steps on there, but it looks promising.
