unable to get past settings page

i am unable to get past the launcher showing language, opengl, and resolution options. I only have a steam deck and haven't played this game since having a desktop. I'm curious as to how to get past the settings page? There is only an exit button and no confirm/ok button to get past.

If I start the game in steam i get this window. If i hit exit it closes the game.

In steam, open the config for the game (cog icon) then go to 'properties' and under 'General' scroll down to launch options. Under the 'Selected Launch Option', pick "Play RUNNING WITH RIFLES". Sound like it is set to 'Configure' for you and isn't you to switch for some reason after first launch.

Just got my Steam Deck up and running. Indeed it's a bit unexpected how the option is offered to "Never ask again" when you initially select to Configure, and Steam will then always start Configure rather than Play when launching RWR. As far as I know we can't change this behavior how Steam operates there, but at least - like Digestive said - the option is accessible there behind the cog icon.
