Quest 2 controls

This game is old and I just wanted to see if the devs could do a fix for the Quest 2 controllers mapping. On the Index you can use the analog stick in directions to teleport but with the Quest 2 you have to push in the stick. Can you map it like the Index so you just push a direction to have the teleport come up? I don't know why they couldn't have free locomotion to begin with but it just seems better if things were mapped different.
