Crash on start up
ibuypower, intel core i7,for my vive controllers. It crashes everytime I launch Call of the Starseed, I see the "hello from cloud head" intro. I scroll down, hit "accept and play," the screen says "saving check point" and then returns me to the home screen. I can't find any bugs or issues. Please advise: What do I do?

I have exactly the same problem. I'm using an HTC Vive Pro 2 with Index controllers, and accessing the game through Vive Infinity. Was hoping to find a fix here. :(

Just tried playing this for the first time myself and am having the exact same issue. Looks like there is another thread on this also with no resolution. Bumping both hoping for an answer.

I got it to work with this fix, Index on Win10, 12900k

you need to reboot after, but it works for other similar crashes on other VR games.

Thanks for this, tekobaka. Can anyone explain (in simple terms) what this fix actually does? Is it safe?

it doesn't launch on Oculus Quest 2.It looked like is going to lunch for a second, and then crashes immediately.I just installed both episodes today ,and non of them can lunch the game.I went trough lots of hoops and loops ,and nothing.I probably going to ask for refund,
