What does the Plant Blade do?

There is a weapon you can get called a Plant Blade, it apparently has zero attack strength and provides extra EP, and has a Special Effect. But, I am really not sure what the special effect is. Anyone know? I cannot seem to find info on it ANYWHERE.

Well I'm not going to go look at mine

but I would suspect that given you have plant spells, and a plant weapon that does not attack attack... they might be linked

It multiplies the drop chance of plant seeds from the respective enemies by 5.

Ah. Thanks. Not exactly super useful considering the weapon is less powerful than even the wooden sword.
