Demo 1.06 is now live, Ramping up for full release.

Demo V1.06 adds fixes to the settings UI: resolutions and modes should work and save better than previously.

Kiopioke will now receive a bandage from Bullet!

Some minor character bugs have been fixed as well.

The game is getting close to complete. Most levels have been designed and built. The graphics are mostly made. Right now there is music to make and bugs to squash.

Steam NextFest (Summer edition) is fast approaching and I am very happy with the demo at the moment. It has reached this point thanks to the players who have been giving their feedback, so I would like to thank everyone that stopped by the Discord and shared their experience with me. I have introduced new control schemes and options and rebalanced levels because of this feedback. The demo (and eventually the game) will be more accessible because of this.

In the near future I would like to attempt to get Steam deck certified. I will continue working on the game and getting to the finish line!

Options won't save

I was trying to set the resolution in the options, but hitting "apply" doesn't do anything and leaving options resets all option changes. Please fix this.

Demo Patch 1.05.

There is a new control option available that allows the player to launch by releasing the Grab button. Visit Bullet's room in level 006 to learn more!

Notable changes/enhancements/fixes:

New control option that launches when Grab is released.
Better collision detection for hazards. This should reduce the "random" deaths that were occurring.
Changes to HungryCat level. More forgiving than before.

Demo has been updated to 1.04!

Hello everyone and thanks for playing the demo. I have been gathering feedback from streamers, posters, speedrunners, and viewers and applied some changes and fixes to the demo which I hope will make your experience more enjoyable.

The biggest change is how the poke/aim/launch mechanic controls now. By default, it will use the movement controls. Before this, separate controls were used for this mechanic. If you prefer the old way, don't fret! There is now an option to use the old method:

Other changes/fixes:

The cat will not stop to talk after the first pass in level 049 (known as the cat level)
Level 049 (known as the cat level) has been rebalanced and now has more places to grab on to.
When stamina runs out there is now an audio and visual indicator
Updated translations
Fixes for save game objects; this should improve object behaviour when loading levels

I'm hard at work fleshing out the rest of the game. As I iterate and make improvements I will continue to update the demo, so your feedback really helps! Join the Discord[discord.gg] and let me know your thoughts on the game.

Game launches in VR mode when it isn't supposed to

This game launches SteamVR when you run it and so it lags my PC. I was gonna stream this today but since it causes such lag when started I am probably just gonna pass. RIP
