Best tier 3 ship?
I boarded Snappy Patrol Boat, but I see it's not good for me, slower than my tier 2 torpedo ship, looking for another better tier 3 ship

its personal choice the torpedo boats are faster but have less space and cargo.
I prefer scorpena. Can run stable with 85 cruise and 105 accelerated speed - gamechanging thing.

If you like to be fast rather than tanky go with the Vigilant Patrol Boat. The snappy patrol boat isn't as good. Where as the tank hull for Tier 3 is the Walrus Longboat.

The Vigilant Patrol Boat spawns as the name suggests, but for the Walrus you need to capture a Tier 3 Dinghy.

I double that.

Except the Walrus isn't that tanky.
The vigilante is slightly bigger, definitely faster, and has more hull points than the Walrus.
The Walrus is the worst of the T3 ships by far.

Also, you can mount hull engines on the vigilante, which will make the scorpena look like a snail in comparison.

Mine has a max speed of 105, and I could still improve it.

thank for info, I wish I can ask this before I board Walrus T___T
Vigilant Patrol Boat is what I'm looking for, more faster, less a bit size and less tanky a bit but still tanky

Vigiliante is the best option BUT the walrus is the thing you need to get as fast as possible. WHile you lose speed, you can mount all your guns and carry so much loot it makes it up in terms of farming potential.
Sadly, its also a big target:) you need the metal hull for it.
Looking for Vigilante as well, I've seen them but don't recall where.

there is a pirate fleet near A5, and another one near I20 (i20), be aware those are huge fleets.

You need to lure the vigilante towardd you while getting away from the fleet.

Those are fortunately the easiest ships to lure.

Try to snipe them from afar, their shotguns will rip your hull apart.

Max speed is nothing.
Questions are:
- can you ride that speed stable or not
- what is your cruise speed
- how long can you maintain acceleration
- what is gun energy supply

- max speed is necessary to rush stupid quest ask you come here, come there, from a far away to the rest of world, it's help a lot to compete rare resource too easy, when you go around map
- average speed is 60 is ok, at least with my tier 2 torpedo ship
- Just a second? That's enough
- some tier 2 energy supply, enough for x2 machine gun and x2 cannon tier 3

-average speed when cruising is around 85 for the vigilant (vs 50 for the snappy, and 35 for the walrus)
-energy supply is approximatively the same for the 3 ships
-can maintain speed? Yes for all 3 ships, the vigilante has a better turning rate and maneuverability though. It can make a U-turn and reach cruising speed in a few seconds.

Just while you're looking for ships, Avoid D10 at all costs if you don't want to soft lock whatever you had on your ship. That square is a death sentence spawning 4 tier 5 gunboats stacked to the brim with firepower.

I'm starting to think there are big differences between the pc and Xbox versions of the game, on Xbox a5 and i20 never spawn anything

it's not exactly at those coordinates, but not far from there.
For I20, go to the sunken city nearby, then go westward, at some point you'll encounter a direction buoy, the fleet should spawn around here. If not, go a little more westward, but not too much or they''l spawn right on you.

You should then be able to reel the vigilants to the sunken city.
Where i can find these two ships , the Virgilant and Walrus? I search a long time for the boats but dont find em alone. Only in fleets and this is only for one player not too make. MfG
