The Vigilant Patrol Boat spawns as the name suggests, but for the Walrus you need to capture a Tier 3 Dinghy.
Except the Walrus isn't that tanky.
The vigilante is slightly bigger, definitely faster, and has more hull points than the Walrus.
The Walrus is the worst of the T3 ships by far.
Also, you can mount hull engines on the vigilante, which will make the scorpena look like a snail in comparison.
Mine has a max speed of 105, and I could still improve it.
thank for info, I wish I can ask this before I board Walrus T___T
Vigilant Patrol Boat is what I'm looking for, more faster, less a bit size and less tanky a bit but still tanky
Sadly, its also a big target:) you need the metal hull for it.
You need to lure the vigilante towardd you while getting away from the fleet.
Those are fortunately the easiest ships to lure.
Try to snipe them from afar, their shotguns will rip your hull apart.
Questions are:
- can you ride that speed stable or not
- what is your cruise speed
- how long can you maintain acceleration
- what is gun energy supply
- average speed is 60 is ok, at least with my tier 2 torpedo ship
- Just a second? That's enough
- some tier 2 energy supply, enough for x2 machine gun and x2 cannon tier 3
-energy supply is approximatively the same for the 3 ships
-can maintain speed? Yes for all 3 ships, the vigilante has a better turning rate and maneuverability though. It can make a U-turn and reach cruising speed in a few seconds.
For I20, go to the sunken city nearby, then go westward, at some point you'll encounter a direction buoy, the fleet should spawn around here. If not, go a little more westward, but not too much or they''l spawn right on you.
You should then be able to reel the vigilants to the sunken city.
