Repeating the same content for Act 1-3 for Act 4-6... Feels like POE 1

ALLLL over again....

It's already bad enough that we have to do the campaign every single time we start a character, but then we have to do it TWICE essentially in POE 1 because Act 1-4 is mirrored in Act 5-8.

So, instead of learning from that and the fact that players have been SCREAMING to be able to skip the same dried-up content for years.... they make the same mistake on POE 2.

I swear GGG isn't just tonedeaf... they are sadists or something.

They did the same thing in POE 1... but, it became permanent and they just sprinkled some debris and rotated the maps a bit and called it "done".

Yes, they want to test endgame but they also want people to be a respectable level for endgame. That's what the cruel acts do. They mimic what acts 4-6 will achieve with your level/gear so you're prepared for the endgame.

It would be weird to test an endgame right after normal act 3 if that's not how it's gonna be later on release.

It was also surprising for me ppl who ask 45 bucks for single cosmetic costume didn't have time to create assets for several years of development. Yeah, but they sure was ready to fill the shop with cosmetics on EA, but not the actual content on EA :)

EA = Early Access. Where is the Early Access the the words "Beta Test"? I see none. This is bad, esp. considering they did the same thing in PoE1.

And even if we forget the full campaign still not ready, ok, so make the "Experimental Map Device" in third act where you can launch a random map from the campaign without any quests with the random boss on the end. Like Diablo3 did freaking 10 years ago.

I like the game for now, don't want to say this is a huge problem or something, but it's a scamy way to do things. We already full of scammers in triple a titles, now another tensent pawn is trying to sell Free to Play game for 15 bucks to gash grab on beta tests. It reminds me of Cyberpunk2077 but if they would say "its just an Early Access".

There's no reason to repeat the first 3 acts, The campaign in PoE1 and PoE2 are terrible copy/paste of Diablo series story-wise, no one cares about it anyway. Just extend the Map Device or hire ppl who can make you a script.

if i remember poe1 made its repete acts slightly different to have occured before or after the final act of the first series with major differences in mobs pathing and reasons for being

I'm pretty sure that poe1 act 1-10 is one big story plot nothing is repeated and as for poe2 4-6 will be replacing cruel 1-3 in few more months

It's a compromise during EA, to fill the level gap between campaign and the start of endgame at lvl 65.

We'll see if it becomes permanent like it did in POE 1.

In PoE1 you had to complete Acts 1-5 three times in order to reach maps. And they later replaced 2 of these 3 runs with Acts 6-10. So I have no idea what you mean with 'permanent like in PoE1' since the higher difficulty with the same acts thingy was exactly a thing they eventually removed from PoE1 once they buil tenough acts to do so, just what they are planning with PoE2 as well.
