Who?
I don't recall any 1-shot mechanics. We're on the stupid REPEAT of the three Acts (Feels just like POE 1 all over again) and didn't get any 1-shot mechanics from any bosses and I'm face tanking them.
It doesn't always oneshot. If you are near him or in some other circumstances you can survive. Also, witch has arctic armor. I don't know why, but arctic armor makes you survive the oneshot by Colossus. So Witch is tankier than melee btw. lol
Because you didn't interact with the bosses or was overgeared. If you kill them fast or hug them, they may not oneshot you but oneshot other characters. Like in the video I linked, it doesn't always oneshot.
"it doesn't always oneshot" that would not be a oneshot mechanic then.
That's either a crit or just a lot of damage RNG which exceeds the remaining health you have left.
We call it oneshot because it's one word. Why would we use a sentence to describe something that can be understood as it is.
> That's either a crit or just a lot of damage RNG
Or weird way the dmg is calculated, like maybe it hits multiple times as a bug. And why does Arctic Armor protect you against Colossus oneshot? That just makes Witch tankier than melee.
You do know dodge is just a fancier way to walk right?
A one-shot mechanic means that when any character of any health or resistances gets hit by it... they die... no exceptions.
An example would be the sandstorm mechanic from the Act 2 boss (assuming you don't get to safety).
That's a one-shot mechanic.
For practical reasons what Colossus does is a oneshot in certain circumstances, because it does one shot a character. It does not kill a character in 2 shots.
You are policing language and only want it your way rather than interact with the content. kthxbai
