Armor Break and/or Stuns worth it?

It seems like by the time I proc the status effects I can just kill enemies with high damage attacks. I do like theory crafting and trying different builds (I already have 9 characters) so I am curious about making a build around one or both of these (although with warrior each ascendancy is good at one but not the other).

Yes, but you'll get more mileage out of them on bosses and rares.

Armor break explosions is the prevalent way to aoe clear as war right now in high tier maps

Later deep outside the skilltree there are skills that allow you to break armor by dealing damage and basicly everything starts to expload and get stunned by 1 or two hits.

Together with hammer of gods bosses can literally expload half their healthbar.

Both are very good on bosses and rare mobs.

Everything is worth it if you do it right. POE is about combining many things coherently, not one bis thing.
