Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

D4 fans are trying to sabotage PoE2s development!
Basically, D3 (Diablo 3) and D4 (Diablo 4) fans have been getting clowned on for YEARS and they are retaliating by coming here complaining about everything. I don't even think they play Path of Exile 2, I think they are trying to sabotage the development by DEMANDING GGG make PoE2 easy as possible -- no challenge.

GGG should NOT listen to player feedback at this time. Never know who is genuine and who isn't. :gr_yellow_bug:

They don't listen to player feedback as much as people think. They make changes by looking at the data as people play.
If a large enough group all complained about the same thing they will investigate by looking at the data to see if there is an issue. They don't change the game because the same 10 people complain about every thing on the steam forum when they have data from 200,000 people playing.

lol what have they changed based on D3 and D4 fan feedback?

They look at metrics across the entire playerbase and make adjustments where there are outliers.

They watch Ruetoo and Jungroan break the game then nerf their builds for the first couple weeks before giving up.
I don't like D4, poe2 definitely released in a more enjoyable state for me. Having said that we complained about backtracking in D4, maps in poe2 suffers the same issue, waypoints is a lazy fix. the combats slow, that's fine but everything else is designed for being fast paced and makes challenge feel artificial. Boss designs are good but with alot of player power taken off the skill tree and put onto gear the insane Rng in gambling makes boss's feel spongey apposed to actually enjoying the mechanics.
I have no doubt that GGG will find a way to improve the game, but it's not hard in it's current state, it's obnoxious. Everything is designed just to slow the player down (this includes in-game trading, reluctancy to add ascendancy respec and campaign skip)

Why would they do that? They are happily playing their non-broken games.
