Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

4 Months for a single content update.
Dawn, now looking back on the idea that they wanted to release the game between 6-12 months from the start of EA. Yeah, with this update pace, that is not happening.

So your options were

"Buy a game before it was finished, knowing it wasn't finished, and there was no telling how long it would be until it was finished"

Or

"Wait until the game is completely finished, no matter how long that takes, so you can play the entire finished product"

You selected the first one

Then complained.

Love how people cry about EA games. Just don't buy them

GGG did not advertise the game accurately. It's perfectly reasonable to conclude that EA is underwhelming at best. GGG admits this.

They can't possibly finish this game in 6 months to a year as they previously stated.

I don't really see the issue here. The game is very playable, there is very little bugs, the main thing missing is content. But even without the EA tag, content will still be getting added to the game as long as they support it. So no matter which you choose, you'll be waiting for content updates

"No telling how long it would be until it was finished" GGG Themselves said the game would be release out of EA in 6-12 months, not my words. I trusted that what they said, they would stand by.

Very few people expected the have to wait 4 months for the first update, given the statement that the game would be finished within 6-12 months.
6-12 months was a marketing trick to get everybody to buy the EA on the promise of how fast it will be progressing. Which was a lie. it's gonna be 24-36 months.
I have little to no interest in playing anymore tbh. I hit lvl 86, tier 15.. and just kind of got bored. No point in playing with how repetitive the endgame is.

But maybe that's a me thing

No, they estimated or projected. You bought EA, you're whining about it not being finished.

Does it look like they'll finish in that time? Probably not, you purchased into EA though and untill 12 months comes then there is no reason to complain as they are still on track. I think we should of had more small patches already however with how people complained about nerfs do you blame them? It's all well and good asking for certain QoL to make it into the game but this isn't that.

It is if fine if you enjoy a game and like a developer. I have complete trust in GGG and I love POE and POE2. But that does not mean they GGG are void of any criticism regarding what they have done. And to be almost at the earliest expected time for the game to be finished and there has been no content update is not looking good and I would not call that being on track.

I really don't care who the developer is, could be GGG, could be wildcard, could be moon studio etc etc. I knew when purchasing an early access game that it isn't ready. We don't know how far content is in the works behind scene and how much will drop in the next big update, so yeh they still are on track. As I said untill the 12 months hit that's when they have hit or gone against their word about completion, at no point did they say you will have new content within 4 months. Critism is fine I think the trade system is ♥♥♥♥ and needs an AH, Poe campaign is more streamlined in terms of drops and they need to fix it here not to mention class's being unbalanced we will see in December if they hit their target. My biggest complaint is how they don't seem to care about RMT.

It seems like we get a few fixes every few month, not even real content.
