I Love POE2. I Don't Think I Wanna Do This Every Season Though.

I love POE2. I love the graphics, atmosphere, (especially Act 1) and combat. Yes, I have some minor complaints but I already put a lot of hours into 0.1 between PC and console but 0.2 already has me burnt. I have ZERO desire to play through Act 2 and 3 again, especially twice in each Seasonal character. I know I am not alone in this so hopefully GGG lowers their pride and either have a skip, an accelerated campaign or something of the like for 1.0. I can't imagine doing this for each 0.3, 0.6, etc during EA either...

yea, seasons should be done like in d4, skip campaign and jump straight into the seasonal stuff

Act 3 is horrible; it's never ending! Just when you think you're done with it here comes an NPC to send you to clear another jungle-like area. NOOOO!

Just wait till they balance everything out, it is early access after all they told you numerous times that they wll break builds. No one forced you to opt in to EA, no one is forcing you to play half baked seasons untill full release. Move on, theres more to life then video games. I'm dabbling in the game, I am no means spending every waking moment no lifing because I know things will change in three months.

I'm hoping they put in a fast levelling mechanic after you finish full campaign at full launch. Like the way D3 did. I can't see me wanting to do the campaign every time I want to play a season.

14 hours isn't enough to determine that i wouldn't want to do it again every season?

I think it'll change again for next season but I do want them to do rolling patch's with free respect. i expect it to end up harder than 0.1 at endgame but better than 0.2. and a campaign skip is needed.

Its not that. The story is boring after I played it over 4 chars last season. I just kinda wanna get the campaign done and get on with business.

Maybe they could make a "campaign" mode and an "end game mode" distincts for people that want to skip campaign

Even in d4 you have to beat the campaign once to unlock the ability to go to season, atleast thats how it was when I played. Plus the campaign eases you into maps. What you're just going to enter maps at level 1 and get steam rolled? Plus everyone apparently wants this game to be like poe1, poe1.5 thats how poe1 did it you had to beat the campaign every single season

Also on that note why the ♥♥♥♥ is there even seasons in EA?

To make a defined finish before they roll out an new char and the multitude of changes I suspect. Tbh, they should force it on everyone by deleting old chars in ea. Its not even the full game yet.
