GGG please play the new update yourselves.
I think the biggest and most important aspect of a game is whether or not the game is fun. Challenging content comes second.

NO ONE was complaining about how "easy" the game was before you guys released this season. It was perfectly balanced already. Enemies didn't feel like they died too quickly and the people you should be catering your game around should be the casual dads and people with 9-5 jobs, NOT top tier streamers who speedrun the game with top tier builds.

I say this with absolute confidence - The nerfs you've implemented into the game are NOT fun. They are not fun for anyone. No one can do any damage at all. All the mobs in the entire game take way too long to kill. This game in it's current state is simply not fun.

I honestly and truly think if you revert the games difficulty and undo all the nerfs but keep all the added content, you'd instantly fix the season and people would be happy again.

But ya. The game isn't fun in it's current state, so please fix it GGG.

the first boss, whom you get the quest for at start got way to much healt that is for sure, doable yeah, fun not so much.

Or maybe i feel that way cuz I am playing warrior haha

It still has the same core issue it's had since launch. The gap between melee and ranged is insane, and melee feels incredibly tedious as a result.

Right before the patch it was perfect

I'm not liking it either. The huntress' mechanics with parry feel clunky as hell. Takes forever to kill anything. Even weak mobs. The eb and flow of the game sucks and my character never feels any more powerful really. I understand they have a "Vision" but if it isn't fun it might needs some changing. And this doesn't feel fun.
They unironically have brain damage if this think this ♥♥♥♥ is fun.

It's crazy how 80% of players copy streamer builds then cry when their build is no longer overpowered. Time to learn how to play the game instead of letting someone play it for you.

The issue here I think is that a group of people don't really understand the line between slow methodical and strategic, and slow boring tedium is a fine line. This game unfortunately in the current state is slow boring tedium. I want it to succeed as well but I just don't flat out play it because it's not methodical/tactical, it's a slog it's just slow and boring. Roll roll roll attack roll roll roll attack is not tactical, a better idea would be to have every boss have a gimmick like Zarokh, where you have a mechanic to work on during an invincible phase, that's methodical because it gives something to react to and think about. Regular monsters should not be taking as long as they do to kill. Rares fine, maybe magics if they have a damage reduction mod of some kind, but not white mobs.

I agree with this.

They're trying to make a game that's based around game knowledge into something that requires mechanical skill.

The problem is that the mechanical skill part of the game is nowhere near where it should be. The skill ceiling is non existent. You cannot actively improve the pacing of your game by being good at the mechanical skill end of the game, you are reliant on the game knowledge end of the game to supplement the lack of engaging mechanics.

Most games that implement mechanical skill based mechanics have a complex enough system going on to keep it engaging through actually improving and overcoming difficulty. This game doesn't do that. It's not hard out of the gate like that. Instead it's waiting on a gear drop or a level up to progress past walls. This makes it tedious rather than engaging.
Yeah they clearly aren't playing the game themselves sufficiently or the crashes and frame rate issues would have been obvious to them.

It reminds me of the early interviews of D4 where they interviewed employees working on D4 who clearly had never played the game.

Part of developing a game includes playing it and getting a feel for how it plays in action.

This update killed my performance (both graphically and network). My witch is a wuss. I'll be back later.
they use to for poe1, and for poe2 they did as it created tere passive tree. Its pro and well calculated by experienced staff lpayers, but these guys i think alll LEFT! ggg is left alone and it shows. I quit due to a 90% dmg scaling nerf, not even cause the gemling changes was gona affect my custom build. They did me in 6 feet under, the joy is gone and my hard work to. EA or not, dont giv stuff like that to take it back what are u thinking. 0 confidance and after dawn, what ever yall monkey find, monkey will nerf
