How about a fix for a game that doesn't look much better that Diablo Maxing out everyone CPU's and GPU's?
Finally!! Get rekt those who were blaming windows on that and totally ignoring the fact that it was issue with the game that wasn't work well with that patch of windows. :steammocking:

Potential means they can't guarantee it. Windows absolutely broke this game and a few others in that update.

Putting the labor on game devs that probably had to scramble to change parts of their game.

Who knows what new problems this "fix" will create.

No they are not, there were Ubisoft games that experienced problems with Windows, which was resolved and they do not have this problems anymore. Why you keep trying to contaminate windows in all possible ways?

Because they released a bad update that broke games.

You own that game? You are owner of the development company? Lost money because of it? What is your problem dude? They did something wrong, it happens, tomorrow your cooler OS can do the same, you would run back to windows after and will throw dirt on shat OS too?
In any means it is not even related to POE, so what was the reason for attacks with lies?

I'm afraid they will go the Ubisoft way and disable core 0 and 1 :(
Very bad news. Performance will drop for everyone.

with multithreading enabled dx12 crashes nonstop. full pc crashes where everything freezes complete and you can't alt tab or anything. have to full pc restart. only switching to vulkan fixes it. with multi threading disabled dx12 works but the fps is down to 20-50 instead of 200ish with multithreading enabled. All my drivers and os are up to date.
specs.
win 11 pro
64g ddr5 6000mhz
rtx 4080 super
9950x cpu
all nvmes/ssds

This is what i'm afraid of. Not everyone is having a 24h2 issue and I know people don't want to hear this, but it seems the ones having issue are just a small minority.
And now they going to roll out a work around fix solution that probably going to hit EVERYONE with a performance cost?

Also this is definitely a windows problem. 24H2 being the key word... thats windows.

Thousands of people complaing about this, but hey, it's just a small minority. Instead of fixing for those who can't even play the game they paid for, GGG should just let the game this way so "the majority" can have 10 more fps.

We have A LOT of people on this forum saying it was somebody else's issue and now we have GGG admitting it was them. LOL! These folks must be eating crow right now.

Is it thousands? I'm not seeing thousands posts. Just a few with the same people posting in them.
But even if it was thousands, thats a small minority compared to the millions who played.

They didn't admit it... lol.

Thousands of people that reported the problem, so you can expected that is waaay more. And even if is the minority, your solution is just ignore?

Also there are many which meet the minimum system requirements for the game and they can barely play it. If they reduce performance even more, a lot of people will no longer be able to play the game. And this will hit cpu's with 4c/8t hardest.

And the thing is that even with core 0 and 1 out of the picture the freeze can still happen, not so frequently but it can still happen.
And the guys at Microsoft are still scratching their heads.
