Still Freezes when loading in Maps?
I was super hyped for PoE 2! but my hype is kinda gone after the pc freezes when i load on maps...and its not my hardware! Got a 4080super and Ryzen7 7800x3D. Is this issue still in game?

Its a software problem likely , Roll back to nvidia driver 565.90 and if u run w11 24h2 find a fresh23h2 image and clean install windows.

Try installing to a different partition/drive location in addition to refreshing your video drivers and double check your system is healthy (bench your CPU and run diagnostic tools to really delve into it, you may be surprised by what you learn).

Also, switch to Vulkan if you have not done so yet, just to see if it improves your specific problem.

Yes, it's still an issue.

How about, GGG just patch and fix the issue instead?
Just don't play until they fix it, it's that simple. If they never fix it, then don't return. Game isn't that great to lose sleep over. Everyone I'm seeing that started playing it when I did has also more or less drifted off out of it for various reasons.
i mean the game is deinstalled since 3 weeks :D and i don´t see the point to rollback my entire pc juist to play PoE2...its a GGG issue they should fix it and i think they on it ^^(hopefully)

ive done 4 hard resets in the last hour. its getting beyond the joke
There is a bandaid workaround:

before loading into maps or going through portals, disable multithreading from your options and re-enable it when you reach your destination and start playing. Do this every time.

It's obviously not a fix but it works. Slightly tedious but it has allowed me to play.

Yeah still crashing (or process not responding) when loading instances.

Its not hardware related its poe 2 game related.

The set affinety (remove 2 cores for windows to work, when poe2 crash and spams all cores with 100% cpu utility) used to work fine but now since last patch even that do not work all time.

It IS a GGG issue. Other games runs fine, only the POE2 freezes.

is fun because pre crash patch the games crash 1 time in 3-4 hours now crash every loading screen
Crash of exiles 2... I can understand it's an early access. But with the new patch, my game crash every loading screen and freeze my computer...

It's a Windows issue not a game issue. GGG can't fix Microsoft's problems.
