It appears that GGG has put a lot of deep thought into it and are being very wise with their decisions. Confidence is at an all time high.

easy, this patch notes fixes some "things", that's all you need to know if you can't read or listen.

They have not released 0.1.1 yet. we are on 0.1.0f yet. the patch we are waiting for us some time next week.

They explained it is a work in progress. It is a very complex problem

Its a complex thing that they will need to sit down and look at. Its suppose to work like it did in the first game but its been tested and shown to not so there is some screwy numbers there somewhere.

Jonathan said that its essentially going to get a 15% buff with the patch but they will look at how they can make it as valuable as the other defensive options while bringer said options down a little bit as ES and Evasion are overtuned.
Socketables:
- Runes and other socketables can now be overwritten with new ones.

This just in! We fixed it boys! ES and Evasion nerfed.

Most important:

Nerfed death effects, tuned down some rares/mobs, more bosses per maps, new boss tablet, 6 tries arbiter, citadels are easier to find, less troll affixes, they will "nerf 10 builds and buff 50 others", armor buffed, improvement warrior mace scaling because it's terrible, they don't want to nerf MF, they don't want to make 4th ascendancy any easier.

The formula in PoE 1 is unacceptable for 2 though. Heck, it's unacceptable in 1 even.
So it's mostly just end game stuff? :steambored:
With 400hours in, this patch actualy realy covers alot of things im well familiar with. Like i have my stories with pretty much every single thing on that patch list, be it skipping boxes cuz they are just slow spawning and its smoke hiding dangerous things like on ground effect or box triggers like the chaos nova or just those liches offscreening you with meteor/detonation.

The only thing im missing is lowering ondeath effects across the board, not just for rares.
