Brother I want to give you a Jester but I dont want to reward you for being a tard
I think you mis-clicked but thx for the Award regardless /kiss
Good thing Diablo 4 has a new season in a week or so.
Did we watch the same stuff? Im not White Knight for POE but Im fair, and they are CLEARLY saying they will address bugs and bring fixes. If you like Diablo you like it, but they are Planning fixes and they are coming
a. No new league / economy
2. These are the quick fixes, there are more things coming
3. Endgame
a. More rewarding everywhere, chests / monsters etc
b. Towers - 4 more maps
Existing map is less boring / more rewarding
c. More bosses
d. Tablets can add bosses
e. More zoom out
f. Better Visual Clutter
g. Elite attacks disappear and don't detonate after death
h. Strongbox / Expedition / Ritual buffed
4. Pinnacle Content
Citadel's can be seen in the fog of war by a beam
Arbiter can use all 6 portals
Other pinnacle content will have more portals late
5 Item changes
a. Low level Uniques buffed
b. Less bad affixes b/c of weight changes & item tiers
c. Can overwrite runes
6. Many outlier monsters were brought in line (nerfed)
7. Other Things
a. Console Item Filters
b. Armour buffed
c. Charms show charges & activation
8. Major balance changes will happen later with a reset
a. Which change was the most important to announce?
The stuff in the next patch, this is just fixing the game
b. What are you hoping for from the buffs to the endgame maps?
Base map is more rewarding, so the extra things aren't as needed
Maps have different strengths. Densities are the same, but small maps
can be completed faster, but large maps have more stuff to kill and
rewarding
People can analyze and figure out what maps are good at what
The minimum is a lot better so people can't brick as easily or run out of
Maps
c. What about bad maps like Augry and Vaal Factory?
Levers without dodge roll & burning ground on them should never happ
There needs to be variance in the maps for different builds with differer
d. What is your opinion on Waystone Sustain / the boss changes coming to help it?
Not sure that there's a waystone sustain problem, but they aren't 100%
and need more feedback
e. What are you hoping to accomplish with Expedition in the future?
Every league needs to provide unique character power or a crafting
avenue that is not otherwise available, and expedition doesn't add
anything unique currently.
f. Why did you wait to add the other attempts to the other bosses?
It's just a time thing, they have to fix each one, the others will come soon
and maybe even on the patch itself
Example: Can't reset the full breach thing otherwise you could
cheese it and get more loot
g. Are Copper Citadels actually the same spawn rate?
Yes, the boss just kills others more and the after on death explosions
have been fixed
h. Were any of the conspiracy theories for spawning Citadels true?
No
What does less bad mods on items mean?
Accuracy / life on kill / mana on kill lowered
Some impossibilities were removed (attack speed couldn't roll on T5
bows)
Considering switching to POE1's tiers (T1 is the best)
1. Adding tiers could be a problem
2. Opposite of Maps
What does less bad mods on items mean?
Accuracy / life on kill / mana on kill lowered
Some impossibilities were removed (attack speed couldn't roll on 1
bows)
Considering switching to POE1's tiers (T1 is the best)
1. Adding tiers could be a problem
2. Opposite of Maps
j: What else is coming to consoles?
More things will come
You will be able to instant swap between controller & M/K UI
k. What feedback surprised you the most?
DPS got too high
No one seeing pinnacle mechanics b/c of it
But they don't want to do mid league nerfs
I. Nerf philosophy
Something truly game breaking, or causing FPS / Server issues that
impact others need to be fixed immediately
m. Was there a data breach, will you reassess 2FA?
Some got access to one of their admin accounts
They stole their old steam account that was connected to an admin
account at GGG
66 accounts were compromised
Not a massive data breach, steps were taken so it won't happen again
2FA will be coming, it just takes some time to implement. It will be
immediately implemented for their support accounts
n. Roadmap for upcoming releases?
They want big impactful changes and patches so people are excited to
come back.
The next big patch is going to be rushed b/c they're excited for it
o. State of Magic Find?
Same formula as in POE1, but rarity impacts currencies
They think no MF is a fair take, but they're not sure they agree
They need more data and to look deeper
p. State of Warriors / Maces?
They think the campaign is fine
The endgame seems to have a problem with scaling
Attack speed / attack times can be a problem
Warriors compared to the gigachad builds
In the end: more to add for maces than a lot of other Things
q. Armour?
Needs more than what they're giving it
They're arguing internally on how to fix it
IEvasion + Energy Shield have better synergies than Armour does
Will take a more thought out big change to fix it
r: Are Charm numbers changing?
Not yet, but something is wrong with them
Don't get enough charm slots
Charms are a newer thing that isn't complete
s. State of Crafting?
"Too slot machinery"
They understand there needs to be more determinism
More info coming later
t.State of Divines?|
Nothing much to say, it should be fixed with future leagues / content /
more uniques being introduced
u. State of the Endgame Mechanics?
The balance is off, ending had a lack of testing
Essence / Strongboxes are supposed to not be known that they're
coming, aka exciting random finds
1. Antidopamine currently
Want both layers of something you spec into and random finds
v:Transition from Campaign to Endgame?
Not ultra powerful at the beginning
Need way better and more fun objectives than "complete T1 maps"
Need to help the newer players more
Narrative just ends and people are lost
w. State of One Portal mapping b/c it hurts new players but blasters aren't
impacted? Also XP on death?
They would prefer to make deaths matter
Too many death penalty axis (no maps, no currency, lose the XP)
Start of maps should be easier and ramp the difficulty
x. How do you feel about ailment application in POE1 vs POE2
They prefer the asymmetry where some skills are better than others, b
needs more mechanics to make it interesting (Ailments are currently
applied based on the magnitude of the hit, so the hard hitting abilities
dominate like Hammer of the Gods)
y: Ascendancy Swapping?
They prefer it being locked in and ultra important
Many people believe you should be able to switch it
z. Should Pinnacle Bosses be 1 shottable?
No, should be 1-3 minutes of actual skilled combat
aa. 7th/8th Ascendancy points supposed to be this difficult?
Supposed to be very challenging
bb. Changes to the Core Atlas tree?
Many changes coming
Feels boring and flat right now
cc. Map Tab when?
ASAP, people are working on it right now
dd. Predictive vs Lockstep networking?
They haven't looked at it yet
ee. Terrain obstruction being worked on?
Yes
ff. Crashes?
They're looking into lots of crashes, some of them are not easy to fix
gg. Minions being blocked in doorways?
Consider this a major problem that impacts a lot of people
Passability doesn't work b/c then the minions play a lot worse
Need a smarter solution, don't know how yet (they have tried everything
Minions that die to distance should respawn instantly
hh. Minions don't dodge major boss attacks, especially damages over time?
What you're doing to keep your minions alive isn't good enough, they will
do a better job / add more tools in the future
ii. Minions become slowed with debuffs when you do?
Was a mistake, they'll fix it
jj: Tooltips for Minions bugged?
They will fix it
kk. Spectres when?
"Fairly soon"
ll. Search feature on atlas?
Yes
mm. Tornado Bird?
Nerfed
nn. auctions house
Nothing to announce now
oo. Accessibility for Red/Green color blindness?
Instead of modes, they will fix it for everyone with testing
pp. Visibility on Rare / Blue mobs?
Don't want a glow, they think its cancer in games, but they will work on it
qq. Visuals in Co-op?
No option, but they can make engine fixes
rr. Disenchanting flasks for quality?
Will add it
ss. Checkpoints in Maps?
"Not a terrible idea"
tt. See Gems without cutting?
"I'Il think about it"
uu. Gambler in the hideout?
Something was broken then it will be turned back on
vv. Venom quest cannot reselect rewards?
They will add it
ww. Movement speed as an implicit on boots?
No, they like how it works now
xx. Ul customization options?
Won't be like WOW, but might change specific things?
yy. Body blocking in Co-op?
Something is not right about it, but it won't be completely removed
zz. Microtransactions moving from POE1 to POE2?
All of them will be done by the end of early Access
