Meta in PoE is builds that clear screens and don't die.
Perhaps if you moved away from your so called meta, you'd start enjoying the game. :P
That probably means your build is inefficient and you need to adjust tree/gear.
It doesn't mean you need to play another skill. It means you made mistakes along the way.
I am playing the build I want to play, I made it myself, and I am trashing every map I attempt so thoroughly. I never get one shot, and when I die, is because I made a mistake. ;D
This attitude is exactly what creates metas in a PVE cooperative game. :P
...?
You can fix your mistakes is my point. You don't have to change build, but you need to remove inefficiencies from it. :P
Thanks for showing your problem is a negative mindset. :P
Hum, no. By that definition, any skill is meta. Just need to remove inefficiencies from your tree. :P
Define "meta". I don't think you know what it means.
By removing inefficiencies, I mean taking points from one place that could lead to better things for your build. I've played cold/crit sorc for my entire playthrough, but I probably respecced 500 points so far working on it to remove inefficiencies.
Kinda like changing your quarters to a bill so it's less weighty in your pocket. Still the same amount of money, just more efficient. :P
I think your problem is that the game doesn't let you fail without punishing you. That has nothing to do with meta, it's a mindset problem, and it's yours.
It is just so much harder to make fast clear speed , great survivability as it.
It actually takes a lot to build to compete.
Ok, the game sucks because it doesn't let you fail, you should go play a game that lets you fail and pretends you're winning, it's the level you're at. :3c
5.2 hours on the game. 83 minutes on the first. Hasn't even cleared act1 on both games. Hasn't played PoE2 in the past two weeks, but is active on its forums complaining and pretending he knows what he is talking about. My statement was a bit meme-ish, but it's pretty on the nose I guess. :P
Edit: Bro's favorite game last year is Diablo 4 <3 just salty poe2 is rubbing its face in the dirt
