HOW PoE 2 is Helping SCAMMERS and Gold SELLERS

There is no point to have an auction house on a website and not inside the game.
Auction houses existed since WoW and since EQ in 2000-2001, even in Ultima Online from 1998.
Today we have to go to a website to trade.
And you are wondering "WHAT is the big problem, so what"
Well the problem is that the Chinese bots are filling up the market with SCAM prices.
They will put up 4 items for 1 EX each and then the rest will be for 1 DIV.
They wait for someone to do a price check on market and also put it up cheap and then they come down and scoop it up.
They will ignore all the messages on purpose and have their item listed there for weeks for 1 ex, so people who look it up see its 1ex and put it up for same price not knowing..
By not responding they have their listing there constantly and no one can buy it...
In online auction market if it was in game, the cheap items that they put up would be just bought up and people would be aware of proper price.
If you look up majority of good items, you will notice first 4-8 people all selling it for 1 Ex, but they will NEVER RESPOND. Since they never respond their items always stay up and they keep scamming people.

--- If it was listed on the game auction house, then if u see someone trying to scam a price, u click BUY and the item just goes to ur inventory, no need to talk or wait or trade with bots.

Then when they stack up enough DIV, that is when they spam you with messages to sell you the DIV for 2$ a pop.
If the company does not want to support BOTTERS and EXPLOITERS, then they should turn off the WEBSITE and make an IN GAME auction house...its 2025 for the love of god...
So this company support scammers and hackers and exploiters...guess they have a contract with them behind the scenes

PS: Never pay bots for Ascension run through, go to the AREA, click J and click PARTY TAB, there are always 5-10 groups of people running stuff for free, just give them the end reward.
Never pay the bots 1 div, so they can turn around and sell it to you.

since when does any auction house protect you from botters and exploiters

auction house would not fix anything, you think that those guys would sell their item for you ? no, they would would not put their items on auction house, they would have their own market websites making it harder for GGG to spot rmt traders.

The market is the worst thing in this game. For me too it should be integrated into the game and not on the site and like every game it should be based on gold and not on objects that you then struggle to find. They have to do something or increase the drop further, it's a bit frustrating that in 150 hours of play I haven't found even one divine...

Simple...lets say your the scammer...
So if the market was online, and u tried to scam the price by putting up something for dirt cheap...people can just buy it directly and thats it...ur scam is done...
But if people have to message u and u ignore them while ur item is taking up space...
That way u can cause people to put stuff for sale for 1EX that costs 1 Div, because the first 4 to 8 items listed are all for 1ex so u assume its 1ex but in reality its 1 div...cuase the bots never respond to messages for 1 div, the items are there to scam people into having them put it up for cheap

Meaning they fake the prices and exploit people by using the market...

trade is fine, same system was in POE and worked fine for years, sure there is all kind of scammers but once you get used to system you know how to trades efficiently.
usual transaction takes less than minute, copy pasting message to seller , waiting to get party invite, going to seller , seller opens trade , you put requested items to trade window, both check items are what they should be, accept trade. No need to say anything else really.

Also what site they going to put it on? Didnt know that GGG has APIs they share with 3rd party companies of their game data...
Stop defending the scammers, unless ur one...
For site to see prices, and items, it needs to be connected by API to the data base of PoE2 servers...
So if they dont give the botters the API and access to the market API then there is 0 problems..

just cause something worked before dosnt mean its good...

But POE2, they have no excuse for not having auction house

You're too concerned with treating a symptom. There are plenty of annoying ways AHs can be manipulated as well. You won't get rid of them, they just try something else.

Also, all your market troubles aren't because of bots. It's a much smaller part of a very complex monster. You can fix it with one dimensional ideas.

and why do other games that have auction houses still have botter and scammer problems ?
