Fully equiped spark sorc however deletes absolutely everything.. which shouldnt happen.
They will nerf everything that deletes higher lvled bosses and pinnacles in seconds.. thats for sure and I'm fine with it as long as they finally give us 6 portals back + buffing defenses.
As of it right now you just forget about everything but dmg and yolo stomp everything. If you get oneshot even if you focus on defenses there is no reason to build upon it.
Current design dictates full dps focus. Which is bad imho.
Thats the reason why a lot of people use spark sorc to farm stuff to play the class they really want.
It's whack.
Even a glass cannon build should take ~60 seconds for a boss, so you have to learn the mechanics and can't just burst through with raw damage. It's perfectly fine for a balanced build to fight bosses for 2-3 minutes and even more if your build isn't optimized.
Probably just damage adjustment.
Also Herald of Ice. Or that ring at least.

How about they fix armor, make it so every attack doesn’t animation cancel warrior, patch the “session hijacking”, fix the after death effects 1 shotting and start working on getting some content into the game before we start gutting every build out there.
I am all for balancing things, but if they start gutting classes people have invested serious time and effort into building, that is going to crush the morale.
All I hear is nerf this nerf that nerf nerf nerf. Guess Sunday is going to be a real deciding factor if they can keep momentum. I think they need to buff warrior, get armor sorted, and start showing off the next class before they nerf things into the ground, since they are allegedly 5-11 months from release now.
We got 6 classes, 24 ascensions, 3 campaign acts, 50+ bosses, 300+ mob types, more zones, and other stuff to get to. Let’s see some of that progress before we gut classes
This thread is about what we think is getting nerfed and not what we think should happen to the entirety of the game.
Ofc everyone wants the stuff you mentioned at some point. But we should be real here for a minute even tho I realize where we are and that it's mostly not possible.
People knowing their design philosphy for the game .. which Jonathan repeated thousand times.. know that they want bosses to last longer than a second. Hence builds will be balanced around that. Period. Doesnt matter what people feel about it. Morale etc everything doesnt matter.
People will complain regardless though.
MoM should be a harsher penalty and they should buff the other %damage taken to mana nodes from 30% if you take them all to 50%.
It's worse for people who don't use these op builds and you can't just buff everything to being op too.
So if GGG rightfully nerfs an op build and that crushes your morale to keep playing, you should blame yourself and not GGG.
I should have thought about that when I built my monk 270 hours ago, when I started messing around and landed at an unoptimized place so I did some research, made 2 changes, now now 5 of the things I use are at risk of a nerf? And I don’t even play meta, I play off meta.

So you want some things that should be nerfed? ES, Eldritch Battery, Spark, Archmage, Lightning Rod, Bell, All heralds, Cast on …, Demon Form, Meta Uniques, Shockburst rounds, Archmage, anything that 1-2s melts an uber
But please, carry on about nerfs with all that content still waiting to be worked on. 6 months and a dream to release at this rate

BUT IT;S NOT THAT SIMPLE.
Nerf can be Buff - when we summ all changed aspects that are part of the game.
Early end game - nerfed
late end game - buffed
skill nerfed - nodes buffed.
nerfed class - buffed skills.
skill one nerfed - but gots new unique that can utylize new edge-cases and opens 10 more variations of the build.
based on what they will be bring - new skills? druid and huntress? new uniques?
or just tone game to upcoming classess? it depends.
Druid is a hybrid of a str/int class that have massive elemental skills and shapeshift. So sorceress gets new stuff to play and mix with - and warrior gets option to play werebear slams. but maybe now they just add just uniques? or nothing? and prepare game because they found a sick infinite casting meteors exploit when combining skills with druid? We don't see all the stuff that ggg sees. And a lot of the nerfs or buffs can be weird in our eyes but ggg know why it's like that.
most of you are clueless about the balance and how game works.
That's ain't simple.
RNG will be higher as more base types will come and also with more weapons added to the game.
(but.. spark.. spark.. is that strong so it even lags the engine due to high amount of projectiles). It's to strong early and in end-game. it deserve to be nerfed to the bones.
I expect they will treat this game other way.
PoE 1 averaged 200,000 concurrent players on steam alone with each new season release.
This is only on steam client, a vast majority of PoE1 players were playing on standalone client. I do not know why people speak out of their arse like this. ;P
All the builds that are made to delete stuff off-screen and fast enough to not invest into defense are getting nerfed. 99% of the new players who can't play and fetched the first build that they could get their hands on are getting their character broken by this, most likely.
Meanwhile, veterans have rolled actual characters that work. :P
Do you wanna know why diehard fans stay ? Because GGG doesn't listen to people like you. :P
